Hi guys
First time poster so go easy on me!
I just got a Nintendo switch for my son which supports plex.
I have onedrive storage and I was wondering if it’s possible to upload movies etc there and then stream to plex? It saves me needing to buy a NAS.
Is this possible at all?
You still need a Plex server somewhere which can access the one drive storage somehow.
So if. I’m understanding you correctly - I need hardware somewhere which is always on. ?
That’s because the app you have installed on your Nintendo Switch is a Plex Player. You will need a Plex Server for your player connect to and your server would mount your OneDrive.

Although, I’m not sure if you can stream from OneDrive, I know you can do that using Google Drive + third party apps.
If you will not run H.265 or 4k movies, you can use a Raspiberry pi as a server.
That’s why I said that I’m not sure.
No offence, I didn’t know either until I googled it
