Only android App can not connect to the server remotely

Server Version#: 1.22.3.4523
Player Version#: 8.17.1.25326

For some time now, only the android devices (ok I don’t have iPhone), cannot connect to my server remotely. Other clients: Web/Windows/Mac work fine.
Android also works fine, but only in local network.
Whenever I try connecting with android remotely I get:

I hoped it would fix itself (it happened before on updates) but it is now like it for 2 months I think.

The error turned out to be router firewall DDoS protection!

It was really surprising knowing that I did not change anything, but probably in the meantime - updating the firmware and software caused some communication differences.

Besides ONLY Android devices having problem with connection was that REMOTE ACCESS in Plex was constantly chaning it’s availability.

For others, I am using:
Asus AC68U with MerlinWRT with FTTH Internet (external ONT model works in bridge mode) so my router is exposed to the external network.

Set: Firewall > Enable DoS protection > Off

Solves the problem.
