Only czech subtitles for HEVC files?

I have all my options set to English. Thanks for getting back to us. I should also point out that I’m running my Plex Media Server off Windows 10. I am using Roku devices. I’ve checked with multiple users. We all see “cesky” for subtitles on new episodes that have been added.

Also, to make matters more confusing. I am not sure if this is related. On a new movie, the subtitle options that appeared, were for various movies. None were for the movie that we were watching. This may be unrelated. I’ve just never seen that happen on my server before.

Thanks for all the input.

I do have the issue open internally.

Their notes state that they’re seeing problems when manually attempting to get subtitles through the API we are using.

Sound familiar?

In a nutshell: It doesn’t matter what we ask for, we always get the same results.
They’re now reaching out to the OpenSubtitles folks for assistance.

Thanks for the answer. But do you have any predictions? maybe the next version?

In the new episode of the Mandalorian that came out today, you are looking in Russian LOL

It’s not PMS version specific! We’ve checked all the recent versions and they all do the same thing!!! :scream:

There is a problem with the interface at Opensubtitles.org

We made direct queries to their interface and got back everything except what we requested.

same issue here. anything we can do to solve this ?

To add to Trumpy,

The metadata team, at last report, has reached out to Opensubtites folks to figure out what is wrong. Everyone is pretty convinced it’s an API failure on their side.

Following his advice is the best short-term workaround.

This issue should be resolved now, there was a problem with the Opensubtitles api which has been fixed upstream.
