(ONLY FOR SERIOUS TESTERS) Bleeding Edge Testing Releases

Anyone porting the plex for kodi skin to kodi? I really like the layout and I can not find anything similar.

Why would you even want that?

PlexKodiConnect is an option.

I want to use plexkodiconnect. But I want the UI from the plexforkodi plugin. Its so much faster for me to use. Mainly the on deck and recently aired. The stock kodi skin is close, but I really like all the menus being horizontal and a waterfall style. So the lower menus change to what ever is highlighted in the upper menu.

I’ll ruin all the speculation: ruuk is not working on PMP.

BTW: We worked on the Kodi addon 9 months before releasing it, then worked on it as a top priority for 4 months. so over a year.

Wild guess (and deep hope): PlayStation. God that APP is terrible.

That, or UWP.

You told us yourself Ruuk was caught up on another major client. Forgive us for presuming that was PMP.

Keep going! Been ages since a new beta.

WHO is working on PMP then?

No idea and personally I’m way past caring some 20 months after they announced they were working on it and about 15 months since it was supposed to be launched.
Unofficial or not I’m back to PKC tomorrow. At least it has a dev who is in the forums every single day.

Jup I’m back to PKC as well, so that probably means NewPlex will hire it’s dev soon as well and development for PKC will fall in line with PMP and the Kodi add-on…

The difference being that its pretty much feature complete already instead of half baked.

It is by no way near feature complete.

PKC on kodi 17 with the new brilliant default skin, for me, blows everything NewPlex is putting out lately (or rather: isn’t putting out) out of the water. I know it’s a database hack and not supported by either Kodi or Plex but it works like a charm and at last I have actual control over my subtitles:)

I played with PKC over the weekend using both the default and various configs of Titan. It’s impressive how it works, but for me the PfK addon still wins… maybe I need to play more?

If they could make PfK the basis for all apps, with the power of a built in player like kodi so it plays all codecs etc then they’d be on a winner.

I don’t see me moving away from PfK anytime soon.

Ah just wait until Kodi 18 comes along, breaking the add-on without development time to fix it

… or don’t upgrade to Kodi 18 ;). I only use Kodi for PfK so no real need to upgrade.

@danjames92
It is by no way near feature complete.
Well I guess that depends on the features needed.
Everything that pfk offers and Alexa and theme music.
So to rephrase… for me its feature complete.

I think danjames92 thought you meant plex for kodi was feature complete.

Titan is so bloody configurable. I finally have it setup pretty much ideally for me. Changed up the colors and everything. I love pfk, but in its current state, I am probably with pkc for the long-term.
