Plex app installed, logged in as myself, same username server was created under. When I go in, I can see the list of on deck and recently added shows, and they play just fine. But when I scroll down to the tv shows channel I’ve made, nothing is listed there. (Even though the shows I see in recently added are all in my tv shows channel.

I definitely did that many many times. Unless it takes more than a minute or two to populate?
Nope, still not there
Few things I can think of:
1 - Make sure to have a recent PMS installed
2- You might need a re-install because your setup is corrupt.
3- Your PMS is not fast enough and might give a timeout before it's done.
I am having the same issue. I am new to Plex, and I've just yesterday purchased a new computer and external hard drive for my media server setup. For the most part, everything seems to work great. My only problem is that I cannot see all of my movies and TV shows via the Samsung Plex app. It only shows me the recently added and "on deck" videos. When I press enter on the TV Shows or Movies selection on the left side, the recent and on deck selections disappear, and only a background image is shown. I've waited and waited, and tried many times, but I absolutely cannot get the Grid View to appear. Everything shows up in the web view perfectly fine, but I'd just like to see a similar interface on my TV.
I just downloaded Plex Media Server yesterday, as well as the Samsung App, so I'm sure they are the most up-to-date versions. And I can stream 1080p DTS videos from my USB 3.0 hard drive, so I can't see it being a speed issue.
What am I missing??

That is a bug, will be fixed soon. For now, you can avoid it by starting playback from the grid instead of the On deck/ recently added sections.

Please take this in the nicest way possible, but that is exactly what I said I can't do, lol. I have never seen the grid view in my Samsung app, and I am unable to get it to appear. When I select TV Shows or Movies on the left side, I see the On Deck and Recently Added. When I press Enter on Movies or TV Shows (to see the Grid View, as the manual says), On Deck and Recently Added disappear, and the Grid View simply never loads. Ever. It just shows me a background image of one of my movies.
Basically I cannot find any way at all to see a list of all of my movies and TV shows.
So I was just wondering if this was a bug, or if I missed a setting somewhere, or what.

UPDATE:
Okay, I have no idea why, but this just randomly started working. Literally trying the same thing I just explained twice above. I got the blank screen, showing only backgrounds, and I was unable to scroll through selections and choose movies (but I was not able to see the thumbnails - it just scrolled through the background images). Then after hitting Back a couple times and trying again, I got the Grid View.
Exited the app, opened again, and I got the Grid View again.
So there is a bug hidden somewhere in the steps I described above, just in case anyone else mentions it, but I am no longer able to recreate the issue (after already going so 5+ times).
Grid View is amazing and exactly what I was looking for. Very awesome!! I even love how the theme music plays for TV shows. Great work. Love it.
I now see what people were talking about with the titles being cut off, but I mean come on.. there are posters! Perhaps the font could be smaller, or maybe automatically wrap to two lines, but that's just nitpicking, really. I'm just glad to be able to browse my collection so easily (and aesthetically pleasing) on my TV. Thanks again!

Just to add I am seeing the same thing. Just occasionally when entering grid view for a section there is nothing there at all. It isnt a timing thing either as I actually left it for 10 minutes.
After that I shut down the app and then restarted. Grid view was immediately avilable for all sections. I will add this has only happened about 3 times since I upgraded to V2
No big deal as Im sure it will get fixed if more people encounter the same. :)
I think it might be a timing issue, that can occur when you press the section before the main page has fully loaded. Like switching a section in the main menu and pressing enter really fast.
Since not all servers/networks and devices are evenly fast, this might be a bigger issue for slower devices.
I’m having the same problem. Movies in my Library are showing up just fine. TV Shows show up in the activity and on-deck screens but not in the regular library grid - just blank as if no TV shows were added. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Plex more than once. Movies and TV Shows are on the same drive in adjacent folders.
