Hello,
the problem is that the settings in Smart TVs are often reset during updates and then converted by the server instead of being streamed directly. The files are all mkvs and can be easily viewed on all players.

I have an older Samsung TV because it happens every now and then during updates.

But my main concern is simply to stop it. He didn’t convert on my old NAS because he didn’t have enough power. Is there any way to simulate that?

I can only suggest, that you then make a custom profile in PMS, and then use that
