This happens a few times per week. After leaving OpenPHT unused for several hours or more with the TV turned off, when i return OpenPHT is not running and no error on screen just the Windows 8.1 desktop. I can launch OpenPHT again no problems, until happens again a few days later. Hard to tell exactly when it exited hope the logs show something.
From the log it looks like there is some problems loading some poster/fanart, possibly not the source of the crash but should not hurt to clear out corrupt cached data.
Suggest you:
Stop OpenPHT
Remove the Database and Thumbnails folders from C:\Users\paul\AppData\Roaming\OpenPHT\userdata\
Start OpenPHT
Note: All necessary data in Database and Thumbnails will be regenerated and cached when you restart OpenPHT
New log attached. Last log entry 00:49 which must be when OpenPHT app crashed. Any advice?
EDIT : I was looking at photos and home videos earlier in the evening and kicked of a full home video library refresh before going to bed - so lots of log entries for that activity. Don’t think the refresh is causing this OpenPHT crash/exit and it’s done it many time before even without a refresh happening.
Anyone any thoughts on this ? Wonder if it could be related to the scheduled maintenance tasks that PHS does by default 2am-5am ? Wouldn’t have thought that could kick out the client though. I’ve changed the scheduled maintenance to be from 2am to 3am to see what happens - the problem hasn’t reoccurred for 3-4 days now … wait and see. I’ve set up window perfmon logging also - can see small spikes in CPU & disk usage during maintenance other than that nothing else of concern.
