For some reason, the behavior of OpenPHT has changed within the last few versions. To make my setup work as intended in PHT, I tell it there are 2.0 channels in the system. When the MKV file has stereo audio, it passes it off correctly allowing the receiver features to make it into a 5.1 type audio from the 2 channels. With these settings, the DD stream is passed directly to the receiver in PHT allowing the receiver to handle the 5.1 itself.
At some point, this changed. The official PHT release works as intended, but OpenPHT will downgrade the audio to stereo if I set 2.0 channels now instead of passing the DD stream along as it should. If I set 5.1, it passes MUTLI CHANNEL audio instead of the DD stream. It seems that it no longer passes the stream at all.
Can someone explain why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?
