I have onkyo 626 receiver and when i put directoutput , 7.1 speakers amd check all dts, dolby etc.) I dont get center channel when audio is aac format? If i use pulseaudio then plex sends 2.0 only out even if i have 7.1 maked and dts-hd checked…
Actually i noticed that center speaker comes from SUB and front channels come from back! This is with all different AAC tracks i tested!
I got bored and just bought Denon 4200 receiver… That shold support 7.1 AAC as it seems that Onkyo 626 does not =)
Hi. Problems continue… it seems that plex outputs onlu 2ch output even if i have chosen 7.1 setup. Plex broken?

Welll I did more testing and it seems that I had to shutdown and restart after changing audio settings in Open PHT… PHP sucs because it does not have any passthru options, so it always outputs stereo (running in HDstation chrome).
So I got DD5.1 now, but aac and flac tracks are ALL distorted and metallic or noise in sound… why?
I posted to another part and basically PHT works and openPHT flips channels strangely (center to sub, left->right, …)
