I fully support that idea! I would open up the opportunity to correct all those wrong decisions of the past few months.

Plex does fairly well in the collection and organization of media. Perhaps one could write third party player clients?

You have openPHT/Rasplex which works quite well, but haven’t been updated to support HDR yet. Another road, which I’m exploring, is using Plex to manage my media and KODI w/Plex addon as player.
