Opensubtitle Agent not working

External Subtitle files are working. The PLEX Subtitle Offset, I could not get to work, so used an external site to offset the subtitles (https://subshifter.bitsnbites.eu/).

I’m trying to get Subtitles automatically available as part of a Movie. I’ve tried the following:

Do I need to specify any credentials for Opensubtitles to work?

I’ve tried various ways - from reading other older comments on forums going back years:

  • I’ve tried Refresh Meta Data of an individual Movie / the whole library… multiple times now.
  • I did Empty Trash, Analyze, Refresh Meta Data
  • on the Hard Drive I renamed the Movie folder to Movie2 and created a new Folder Movie. Then Scan, Refresh and then renamed back to Movie, Scan and Refresh.

Any advice on this one?
