I’ve tried several times to get Alexa to recognize my OPHT player. I’ve updated to the latest version of PMS as well as OPHT. I have disabled the skill and re-enabled. I’m signed onto plex.tv via the player. I have control via HTML enabled (can’t remember the exact wording), and Alexa only sees my web-based player as an option. I also noticed that on PMS, that if I go into settings/devices (that have accessed the server, all are listed but also not OPHT (all my Rokus, my phone, tables, browsers etc). Any idea what the problem could be and what else I might try? Thanks in advance!
You must be using OpenPHT 1.8.0.148 or above. You must be signed in with a full account and not a home account. See the other threads for Rasplex (OpenPHT for the rPI) where the issues have all been account or network issues.
But OpenPHT just opens a websocket to the Plex.tv Alex service and listens. So it’s most likely not the OPHT client. You could also try logging out and back in.
