Player Version#: different Version on different clients
i have a own mediathek of movies and i want to optimized the content oft it automaticly. So if i copy a new movie to the configured folder, there is a job running every 15mins to read this folder and insert the movies to my plex-library… but i also wanna have a job, which automaticly created optimized versions of the imported movies.
Is that possible? If yes, where can i setup this?

Go to your library. (Don’t select any items.)

But i have to trigger it by myself… right?
What i want is… If there is a new movie in the lib, it should get optimized automaticly…
That’s exactly what will happen afterwards.
It will behave similarly to a ‘smart’ sync job.
Or also when you click on ‘Add to Playlist’ without selecting any items, what you get is a smart playlist which will always contain the whole library. Additions and removals are automatically incorporated.

but another question: There i have to select, which kind of optimization i want… is there are way to optimize every new movie to more then one version?

Can i automaticly optimize to all of this three options?
Create more than one optimization job. One for each quality/preset.
