If I setup optimized versions, will those versions work when syncing remotely? In other words, will it not need to transcode and take the already optimized version when I request it?
+1000 on this. I’d love for the pre-optimized “Unwatched TV Shows” to sync with my iPad when it’s available. Since I travel a lot, syncing to my devices is one of the main reasons I paid for Plex Pass. It would be great that as unwatched TV shows are optimized while I’m on a plane could be synced when I land! Right now, it’s having to re-encode when the sync starts which is really not very efficient.
