I have 2 libraries in my setup:
Problem: Plex doesn’t know that the gdrive library is not local and is using bw to download/stream media (wan).
An option to define download capacity and flag certain libraries as “wan” would fix this this.
For those of us on slower ISP connections (sub 100Mbps) using cloud storage (rclone mounts) the detect intro process can completely flood my internet connection. Plex becomes almost unusable. Would be nice to have a way to throttle the detect intro traffic.
That could be useful. In the meantime, and in case you are not aware, you can limit intro detection to only be performed during scheduled tasks to limit its impact on your server’s performance. In Settings -> Library:
