I have a friend that has shared his server with me but its cpu is not powerful enough to transcode on the fly for his upload speed. Having a feature where I could request ahead of time an optimized version for his bandwidth would be cool. This could be set up so that the optimized version would delete from his server after a period of time so as to not take up extra space.
