"Optimized Version" as Task schedule!

It would be great if you give the option to optimize movies automatically via cron job in the settings. Have you thought about it?

There’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option to create optimized versions as a scheduled task. Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.

Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.

Optimization as Scheduled Task

Would be great if we could have Optimizations run as scheduled task so that they can run in hours when the server isn’t being used. Example: I have a Smart Playlist that automatically optimizes anything added to it for mobile. Mostly for my kids’ Tablets. Would be great if I could schedule any optimization for that to run from say 1-7AM without having to manually pause and resume.
