Ability to schedule optimised versions

I love the optimised versions feature as it really helps prevent a lot of transcoding to users of my server. However sometimes the server gets hammered as items are being optimised along with other items being transcoded for delivery to users.

What I would like to be able to do is set a schedule for the optimiser to run when my server is least used (the middle of the night for instance) so that it’s not taking up valuable CPU cycles when people are actually watching content.

This would be great - especially if you could set up a schedule to optimise different file types in different folders.

‘Optimise’ processes are automatically paused or put on hold as soon as a playback transcode is in progress.
Depending on the power of your cpu you can influence the behaviour a little bit under
Settings - Server - Transcoder - Prioritize streaming transcodes
