Option to use blurred album art on lockscreen

Hello,

Sorry if this isn’t the correct place for this post or if it’s a repost but I was just wondering if there are any plans to customize the lock screen background art for the Plexamp mobile app? On android at least, the lock screen shows the artist art, but I would prefer to use the album art since it’s of a higher quality/resolution (for me at least). Additional options to blur (or ultrablur) the art would be even better. Basically, just having more options overall would be cool to see. I like that we can customize the now playing background, but having similar options for the lock screen would be awesome. Thanks and keep up the great work on this app! :+1:

Mine is blurred on Android. Don’t know how though. It’s just always been that way… Hadn’t even thought about it until I read your post.

Turns out it could be related to Oxygen OS on my OnePlus device. Still, I know music apps can override the system wide settings for the lock screen background. I have another music app for local files that has this feature. Some more options for Plexamp in this regard would be neat to have in a future update.

I also have a phone with Oxygen OS and wish this was a setting, idk if it’s actually related to oos though since no other music apps do this.

We’ll be moving to using album art instead of artist artwork.
