Hello - I am trying to set up some Home Videos in Plex and embed as much of the data in the files themselves rather than editing in Plex GUI. I’ve had some luck using a few different apps, the latest being Attribute Changer to update the file dates, but nothing is coming through correctly in Plex. It either comes through as January 1st of whichever year (which seems to stick to the file through Plex Dances, etc… until I make it look like a completely different file), or it comes through as +1 day (i.e. January 2nd when date is set to January 1st).
These are .mp4 files, I’ve tried updating the file Date Created & Date Modified dates, as well as the Media Created tag.
I’ve reviewed a lot of Reddit and Plex Forum posts, but many are unanswered and/or the resolution doesn’t fix my issue.
Any thoughts or others who have gone through this?
