I have two Plex servers running, one on Synology (version #1.41.3.9314) and one on Nvidia Shield (version #1.41.3.9314 as well). Both servers are accessing the same files that are stored on the Synology NAS.
In both instances I am experiencing the same error:
Plex has correctly imported my personal media, including the file name as the item title (the file name includes the date in written form). The custom thumbnails are nicely imported as well (they have the same file name as the video files) and the files are playable. For some of the video files, the file date (‘media created’) is read and displayed properly (I sort using ‘By release date’). However for most videos, the file date is not read. This happens to files that are stored in the same folder: e.g. within the folder ‘Family videos/2022’ only one of the files has it’s media create date displayed, while the 38 don’t show this.
This is the case with several libraries (e.g. I have a libary Family videos, Travel video’s, Travel 4K videos, etc.).
I have added a screenshot to clarify. You can see several videos showing their creation date, but most just show their title.
