Can anyone tell me why when Plex Server starts up it makes the Apple Music application start? Also, if I close the Music app, whenever any media is played on Plex server the Music App opens again.
Nothing begins to play on the Music App it just opens. It’s irritating because there is no reason for it to be open and it is taking up resources.
I found an old article, that had to do with an older version of iTunes (that no longer applies as that doesn’t exist anymore). It was talking about iTunes sharing .xml information with outside applications.
That ability seems to have disappeared with the update to Apple Music so that’s of little help now.
I DO NOT have the iTunes plugin chosen in the server settings. I don’t need it and hopefully that shouldn’t be an issue.
Any other ideas?
