I have many BBC series and I cant get any joy with PLEX. Just maddening.
I love PLEX, dont get me wrong, a terrific way to stream content, but scraping and naming is mind numbingly crazy

If you’d like assistance, go ahead and post the name of the TV shows and the file naming structure you’re currently trying to use, etc. It’s actually not too difficult when to get it going.
FileBot and TheRenamer are the two most popular tools.
My rule for TV /nas/tv/{n}/Season {s}/{n} - {s00e00} - {t}
My rule for movies: /nas/movies/{n} ({y})/{n} ({y})
In FileBot:
Drag, drop, match, rename (it will move the files and create directories as it needs to. Empty directories are removed after all files moved out.
https://www.filebot.net worth every penny.
ONE word of caution using FileBot.
Create a sandbox of media to play in and learn. For as quickly as FileBot can put your media in perfect order, one bad template can scramble it worse than a 50,000 piece puzzle you’ll never recover from.

Why? You know Filebot has a History button where you can revert any changes with one click?
I know it does, you know it does, but until we just stated it, a panic’d user may not, and probably won’t, see that.
It’s actually ridiculously easy to name you’re content appropriately.
