I have a Panasonic TV connected to a Panasonic BluRay player/stereo combo via HDMI and audio is via fiber optic. Viera link settings are set as Viera Link COntrol = Hom theater, and Speaker Output = Home Theater
No issues when running version 1.0.3. Then I updated to version 1.6.2.
After the update I find that when I switch sources the Viera link setting for Speaker Output is switched to TV instead of Home Theater.
I found the same this was occurring when the screen saver was activated.
Unchecking “Put devices in stanby mode when activating the screensaver” and “Wake devices when deactivating the screensaver” resolved the problem when the screen save is activated. I expected that unchecking “Devices to also put in stanby mode” and “Action when switching to another source” would fix the problem when switching sources, but it doesn’t. I’ve tried a bunch of combinations but I can seem to fix this last problem.
I don’t know if this is significant, but I noticed that the Viera Link setting is switched when I change inputs TO the hdmi that the RPi is connected too, not when I change FROM the RPi. Also, running RPi2
Can anyone suggest anything else I can try
