Hey MTII I am not here to argue the finer points of parenting or the value of this feature (i do think it would be valuable). but your son should not be able to just hit "find nearby servers" and get in if you have "require authentication on local networks" checked in the server myPlex settings (show advances options). if he can then there is a serious bug with that and you should make another thread so the devs are aware

However, that also requires that I go through myPlex when I instead (for various reasons, most importantly speed) want to connect directly via Bonjour... :)
i would like it to go one step further, before viewing without a pin etc (obviously easily disabled at the server for ppl without kids), the user has to enter thier date of birth or age, then the programs that are for thier age will only be accessable.
i have a 9 year old and twin 5 year olds, all of them are experts on google tv and plex. even though they know they have thier own kids movies section the 9 year old will often look though the adult section (over 12 movies not porn). We have no problem with this but would like this option to stop any video nasties being accidently viewed by the kids.
