To get to the core of your requirement… what you’re asking for is a “regular account” that requires a separate PIN for account settings that modify access to certain features (e.g. online media sources, Discover features…)?
Personally, I’m not sure that’s going to happen. As pointed out above, it’s kind of turning the current design of Plex of regular vs. managed accounts inside out… but that’s just my 2ct.
I feel the more sensible approach might be to keep kids with a managed account but allow “sharing shared content” (if allowed by the server owner + respecting the Plex Home admin’s parental controls)… but that requirement also hasn’t seen much progress (probably because only Plex knows how users bend the term of “Plex Home” to pass along Plex Pass features to friends) and such a scenario exposing Plex to more scrutiny towards “sharing groups / pirating”.
