Partial media recognition problem

Hi guys.
First of all, I apologize, English is not my first language and I hope to be as clear as possible.

There you go, I recently added a very large amount of content, mainly mangas and series.

Everything seems to be working fine, except for some Metadata.

Let me explain: The series are fairly well recognized, I had to rename a few files but overall it works well. On the other hand, for manga, it only seems to work half-way.

Indeed, the episodes seem well recognized at first, and I later realize that some have titles and others do not. For example, the first season of Naruto Shippuden is well recognized, the episodes are well classified, with their respective titles, then from the second season (and subsequent ones) this is no longer the case. The episodes are still well recognized, the seasons as well, but the episode titles and thumbnails are no longer there. For example, it will just be marked “Episode xxx” with a screenshot of the episode credits.

I don’t understand how episodes can be recognized, without actually being recognized.

Has anyone ever had this problem? How to cure it ?

Plex uses either TheTVDB.com or TheMovieDB.org for series metadata.
Lookup your series on there and see if they have differences in how the episodes are numbered and sorted.
How many seasons there are, whether special episodes exist.
Also with Anime you often have a series which is actually just a new season of an older show. You need to put in a bit of research.
