I’m trying to add the 1986 cartoon series Inhumanoids to my Plex library. I downloaded all 13 episodes from YouTube to the same drive as all my other TV stuff, renamed the episodes in the S00E00 format, but it only picks them up from episode 6 onwards. The first five episodes were a single five-part story so I’m guessing this is what’s preventing it from being correctly matched but I’m at a loss for how else to name the files.
Can anyone suggest anything?
I’m having the same issue as CaptainBisto, when I search TheTVDb.com the series is found, but when trying to match in Plex it returns the “No Matches”. Its odd as older episodes from the same series are found while the latest to be released are failing to match.
Is there something going on with the Plex Agent?
is that a typo? I cannot find it on TVDB or TMDB

I managed to make it work by completely deleting the file names and entering them again, rather than editing the existing file name. Exactly the same name, but for some reason it picked up the first five eps when I did that.

all 13 episodes matched for me on first try ( TVDB episode order set for library) with the minimum supported naming.
Do y’all run any network level adblockers or things like that?
Some Shows and Movies are still matching fine for me, but others are not finding any matches. No I don’t have an add blocker at the network level. I’ve got the Plex Sever running on a Synology NAS.
This seems to have started about 1 week ago. One example an Anime “I’m the evil lord of an intergalactic empire” matched episodes 1 through 9 fine, but the latest episode 10 will not match. While other shows like “Your Forma” and “Lazarus” match fine still.
Nothing I can update seems to result in a match even when I manually update the search criteria.
Did a full restart of the Plex Server after killing it in the task manager and now the matching works again for me. Not sure what was causing the issue, but its working again now for me.
