Issue while recording two shows back to back on the same channel. I have a 3 min start and 5 min end extension on both.
This setup works great for a few weeks then last night the second show starts recording 5 minutes late with no reason except to say partial recording. I can salvage the recording by taking the last 5 minutes of the first show and use it for the first 5 minutes of the second show because they are on the same channel. I have 6 tuners so I am not running out of tuners and it is not a set up issue because it worked without issue for weeks. I was researching on line and there seem to be a work around of starting the recordings 12 minutes early for the times it starts recording 10 minutes late which seems to happen too often based on my research. Is this the only work around to this issue?
