Title says it all really.
Passout Protection under Player Experience settings on the Android App is set to ‘Never Prompt’. When I then select a TV Show to play and cast to my TV, playback continues for only 2 hours, then stops.
I have paid for Plex Pass. Slightly regretting it now if the functionality I wanted doesn’t actually work.
To what are you casting? The Plex Android TV app?
Do you have auto-play set to immediate?
Known problem on Android TV.
I’m casting to a Google Chrome Cast.
Auto Play is set to “Play Up Next videos Automatically”
Auto Play Countdown Time is set at 5 seconds.
An Update:
Seems if I just use my phone (Plex Android App) and watch the TV Show through this, the ‘Player Experience’ settings work and continuous playback doesn’t stop after two hours. However, when casting to a difference device, it appears as though all the Player Experience settings are then ignored and settings return to default.
