Pausing a Video stream for a few minutes and returning, playback does not resume

I am having a consistent issue where I pause a video, leave it for about 5 minutes and return. When clicking Play again, the buffering wheel appears and the will never complete. If I close the browser and relaunch Plex, and resume, it works fine.
