Plex playback cannot resume once paused

I’ve had this issue for a month or so now,

If I leave plex playing series it will play episode after episode or a whole playlist of movies without any issues at all…

Until you pause it…

Every single time I pause the playback and try to resume it, whether its 10 seconds or 5 hours later the playback resumes until the buffered data runs out and then it stops.

Only way to recover from there is to close the web tab, re-open it and then you can resume from where it stopped.

I’m having this same issue, and it looks like this has been an ongoing issue going back a few years off and on (searching has brought up multiple reports of this, with no actual resolution).

@FirstGeekDanny Are you still observing this issue? If so can you please provide any updated information such as Server and Player versions?
