Playback Error
There was an unexpected error during playback. Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problems.
Getting the above mentioned error whenever i try to play something on the PC. Was working fine 10hours ago.
Any idea on how to fix this?

There appears to be an issue with the Plex authentication server, started maybe an hour ago. My server is running but cannot be contacted via the player.
where did you hear that? Im still having the same ongoing issue atm

My server didn’t recover automatically in the end. I had to login to it directly via web browser using it’s IP and port and then claim the server to associate it back with my account. After that everything was ok.
