Hello! I would love to have the ability to use hardware transcoding.
But i don’t want all the other “plex pass” perks. But i only want the hardware transcoding option.
Now to my question :
Is there any solution to buying only hardware transcoding ability.
And not having to pay monthly or lifetime plex pass when i only want 1 feature.
I really don’t need anything else but stock plex media server but with hardware transcoding capability.
I’m strongly thinking of jumping boat and go use jellyfin instead.
But i would want to find a solution to stay with plex instead have used it for 2 years and still am using it but really im missing the key feature to use hardware transcoding. Don’t get me wrong im glad to pay for the feature but not for the plex pass itself since all other features are not for me.
Would want the option to pay for hardware transcoding by 1 time payment
kinda like you can 1 time payment for the app itself in app store on mobile devices.
