not capitalize on that yet. There was some work late 2018 by one of the mpv devs Jeeb to get that working in Windows. However that work is not complete and there has not been any work for HDR on the backengine of PMP for well over 2 years.

Ok I have been looking everywhere for that. and no offense but I have seen many times a moderator say something in this forum then a plex dev come and comment the complete opposite.

I have Nvidia shield TV + a pc with GTX 1080 Ti + 2nd pc with GT 730 + LG B7 HDR OLED that gives notification.

how you can tell in windows that you are not running HDR on the TV? the colors look washed out? yes that happens on normal monitors but on HDR monitor it won’t look washed out . so are you saying that on windows 10 using pmp something is doing tone maping ? then how to check if it is tone mapping or running perfect HDR ? ( does it show in tautuli as its not direct play ? )

I got all devices I want to test so please reply so i can confirm it even record it for the other members who doubt it , i can use my capture card or phone to record it and post it
