Performance on menus and navigation

Hi

I have moved from Kodi to Plex as my living room media center. I’m using a NUC8i3BEK2, which obviously is not a beast, but ran Kodi just fine and it has the Iris 655 gpu.

On plex I find that the menus and navigation in general to be sluggish and GPU load is going through the roof when moving the mouse around. I didn’t experience anything like this in the old windows 10 store app.

Is there any way to turn off all the fancy transitions, or in any way make the menus snappier? Any plans to optimize the gpu usage?

Playing media is not a problem on my system, it’s just the menus and navigation that bugs me.

Which app are you using specifically and what‘s the version number?
