+1 hell yeah. i’ve already got a sudo ambilight setup using a shield TV. and a color hue bulb. but i’d love some actual integration now there is an API for plex to directly interact with. even if this would be a plex pass feature.

i hink this could be a feature to push plex even on FireTV. The external plugin dosn’t work well.
I have tested the Kodi integration, to oainfull, many light problems etc.
If there is a nativ integration in plex, it could be optional payed i think. so 10 US-Dollar für PlexPass Users…
like te idea to have the Philipps Hue light “synchronized” with the movie on the TV - Ambilight like feature will great ! + 1

I’m 100% here for this. I’m currently using an elaborate RaspberryPi based solution in my bedroom that requires me to view Plex through my Shield TV – I’d love to cut out the middle man.

+1 for this. I have it “kind of” working on the Xbox client by streaming the xbox screen to a PC and controlling my Hue Lights with the HueDynamic app from there. But an integrated solution would be fantastic, as this involves too much running around to different rooms to start up. I would also love to see a system level integration with the Hue and the Xbox for games, but that’s for another forum entirely
