[Philips TV] No image shown on the TV anymore

Hi there,

as -I guess, this has been going on for a few weeks- per the new server update (1.18.2.2058-e67a4e892 on Synology NAS) and/or an update on my TV (Philips 40PUK6400/12) I cannot get Plex to play any content anymore. All I get is a black screen, and sometimes sound. Plex works fine on other devices (iPad/Android phone and Web Client), but the TV just blanks out. Is this a known issue? What could I do to resolve this? Already reinstalled the app on the TV to no avail and the software on the TV is up to date. Many thanks in advance for your insights.

I don’t have a Phillips, but the recent client updates on my fire TV has caused many video issues. If you go into setting on the client and then go to advanced and then to New Video Player and set it to off I think it might work. Hope that helps.
