Photo Album Thumbnails Disappearing

I originally posted this in the Roku forum, but then discovered it’s a cross-platform (i.e., server) issue. Here’s what’s happening.

I’m running PMS on a Windows 10 machine. Serving to a Roku 2 device, various Windows 10 coputers, iPhone, and Samsung Android phone. On my Roku 2 box and my wife’s iPhone (but not on web client or Android device), thumbnails for certain photo albums keep disappearing. This happens only with those thumbnails I’ve manually selected for a folder, not with those automatically generated by Plex. I’ve done the normal update/analyze from the server, but has no effect. Also changed to the Plex Pass app on the Roku, exact same issue with exact same folders. Very, very frustrating that something that worked just fine for months and months is now broken.

Like I said, the problem is on the Roku 2 and iOS app. NOT on the web client, Windows 10 desktop app, or Android app. Ideas, anyone?

I have the same problem with PlexMediaServer-1.2.7.2987-1bef33a-x86.spk for my 411+ Synology…
All the client Player viewing the image and wallpaper from the movie and tv-series but on the TV and server… nothing!
Else for the home made movie have the same problems.

This keeps happening, then not happening, then happening again. I can’t get a handle on it, but it seems like every time I convince myself that it has stopped, it happens again.

Hi,
with the new release PlexMediaServer-1.3.2.3112-1751929-x86.spk… all the image and wallpaper are now visible! I see all… that’s ok
