Photo Library Shows Nothing

I’m sure this is a case of RTFM, but I couldn’t find anything readily about it. I’m trying to add my first Photo library to Plex. I’ve created a photo library and pointed at my network share \\server\photo\!Plex, but the library shows empty. I tried doing an Update Library, but it’s still empty. Can anyone help? What am I missing?

Currently folder structure:
\\server\PHOTO\!PLEX
—20170311-Our Wedding
±–1 Details
±–2 PreCeremony
±–3 Ceremony
±–4 Portraits
±–5 Reception
±–6 Reception Events
\—7 Exit

So, I solved this. I figured out that the Plex service account didn’t have access to the share. That would’ve been a convenient error message to display.
