Photo Library to use Google drive, One Drive, iCloud, Drop box, etc

Hey guys,

I have been saving my family photos on Google Drive for years. To get all those photos and videos displayed in Plex, my Linux Server runs a cron job twice a day, which triggers a FreeFileSync batch script to copy only newly added photos from Google Drive to the Folder, which is being used as a Photo library by Plex Server.

Although this works, it would be much more straightforward if Plex could simply pick photos from a folder in Google Drive.

Same thing has been mentioned on the following threads:

Hi @GaskOneSan, is it possible to share your script?
I’m using google photos sync python script to download pictures from google photos.

Hey @mcgyver83,

Free File Sync is an app. You can get it from here:

Use it to configure your sync preferences and save them as batch scripts.
Afterward, if you are using Windows, use Task Scheduler to execute the batch script
If you are using Linux, use Crontab instead of Tash Scheduler.

Let me know if you need further assistance.
