I’m having trouble getting Plex to display a thumbnail for all photographs in a folder. Most are displayed ok but there are quite a few that display just a blank square. The date of the photo comes up and the photo will display properly when double clicked.
This has happened on several photo libraries I’ve created and I’ve tried deleting the library and recreating from scratch but I still get th same issue with the thumbnails. I can create the thumbnails ok in other tools like Nero. This happens on the web/desktop display and the mobile displays.
I run my plex pass media server in an ubuntu bhyve virtual machine on a FRENAS11 server. This issue has only happened recently. I am on the latest plex media server version and ubuntu is up-to-date.
Can anyone help? This is a very basic element of a media server so I’m very surprised the something supposedly as slick as Plex has an issue like this.
