Hello and thank you to anyone that is willing to try and help.
I just took my old iMac(Single Partition of WinXP) out to use for a second screen/computer, I ran into issues on XP since they stopped development.
I decided to download Ubuntu 14.04(lts) to get plex working however it did not, I could get the PMS working fine but when trying to use PHT it crashed after setup.
I have tried to run it again but it does nothing, no errors or messages and does not launch. Deciding to Linux Mint 17.1 a shot to see if this fixed the issue but ran into similar issues.
On Linux Mint 17.1 PMS will install and show my library but not playback videos unlike on Ubuntu, I then tried PHT and got the same problem. I canceled the setup at the login screen & it seemed to be working
but on reboot of the program it experienced the same problems as Ubuntu, it would not start and was not showing any errors or messages. I have even tried Plexmbc to get XBMC as a frontend but it only works on first launch and after that I receive an "Script Failed" error.
If anyone is able to help me with these problems I would greatly appreciate it, I am looking to somehow make a frontend for Plex stable.
