PHT Ubuntu LCDproc no german umlaute and no Progressbar

Hi,

 

i am using a smal LCDisplay (20x4 Characters) conneted via LCD2USB.

 

LCDProc is installed and running well, also i get Infos when PHT is active.

 

Configuration LCDd.conf & LCD.xml is ok.

 

BUT if the Display must show a "ä" or "ü" or "ö" it just shows "".

for example "Lautstärke" becomes "Lautstrke" :wacko:

 

Also the LCD Progressbar witch normaly shows the Timeprogress of a Movie

just dont work. "[#####     ]" becomes "[              ]"

 

Any Help would be cool :rolleyes:

 

And sorry for my bad english, its not my native language -_-

I have modified the Sourcecode than rebuild OE and now it works

I'd been keen to understand how you got the Progress Bar working please?

please tell me how you fixed it. i have same problem with the Progress Bar.

Schau mal bitte in der Config nach:

#CharMap=default

CharMap=hd44780_euro

Probiere das mal vlt ist das das Problem.
