Picked a 12tb drive I have a question on reliability

I came across this drive from my IT department, Its new in box ,I was wonder what you guys thought for plex media as a filler drive or even permanent . All my other drive are WD red which I believe is recommend. Free is good I hope! lol

Its an Toshiba 12TB Enterprise HDD SATA 6.0Gb/s 512e 7200 RPM 256MB Cache 3.5" Internal Hard Drive MG07ACA12TE

That’s a fine drive for corporate use. As long as you are not trying to save power by spinning it up and down all the time, it will probably serve you well and reliably.

Btw, this company is publishing regularly statistics about their hard drives in their data center. Since they use a lot, their numbers are statistically relevant.
