I’d like to request the ‘Picture in Picture/Pop-out video’ function for the ‘Plex for Windows/Mac’ desktop players. I know I could just use the web player, but nearly all my files are in HEVC and my server relies on Direct Play. And while I could just make the window smaller using the desktop software, it still shows the title bar. I like to work on my laptop while having something to watch in the background, but the title bar uses up screen space. Being able to hide the title bar would be another option.
I suppose there’s already an older thread discussing such an option (though it appears it never got much attention by other users). Anyway… unless you’re searching for something entirely different, I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting/dispersing the little attention even further (in which case I would close this thread as a duplicate).
