I would love borderless video mode like quicktime has. No menu bar ect. Also please add float on top mode like quicktime has.
On macOS Sierra, they could get this by adding support for the macOS’s Picture-in-Picture feature.
I’d also like to request the ‘Picture in Picture/Pop-out video’ function for the ‘Plex for Windows/Mac’ desktop players. I know I could just use the web player, but nearly all my files are in HEVC and my server relies on Direct Play. And while I could just make the window smaller using the desktop software, it still shows the title bar. I like to work on my laptop while having something to watch in the background, but the title bar uses up screen space. Being able to hide the title bar would be another option.
+1 for this. I use PiP mode on macOS all the time, and would love to see this incorporated into Plex.
This is a really key feature, IINA, Infuse, Quicktime etc all do this, hoping that Plex could be updated to achieve this also.
