Picture in Picture (PIP) support for Plex Player for MacOS

Picture in Picture (native) for Plex Player for MacOS is a long standing feature request that doesn’t seem to have an active entry, hence this topic (I’ve checked for duplicates, nothing covers MacOS that is open).

As a user of Plex Player on MacOS
I would like native Picture in Picture support
So that when I’m multi tasking whilst watching video content, I can get the most efficient use of my screen

(failing PIP, top menu bar/borderless video playback would do the job also)

Implement Picture in Picture mode in Plex players

Hi, I use plex everyday, the players are great but it’s complicated to work and watch a movie in the same time if you have only one screen, it’s why it could be awesome if you could add the “Picture in Picture” support on Android, Plex Media Player (on Windows 10) and even Plex Web with the Picture in Picture API. Problem is that “main thread” is only about Android and Windows. No reference to MacOS, perhaps it could be updated beyond?
