Now it works. I disabled IPV6 on QNAP at all and cleared all caches.

I’d had cast photos working for years but suddenly they started dissapearing as metadata refreshed
 After reading this thread and trying out a couple of the suggestions, switching the Cast List Source from IMDb to The Movie Database worked for me. Thanks!

You’d think Plex would set their scanner up with automatic fallbacks
 e.g., If IMDb is chosen as the preferred Cast List Source, then draw the cast list from that – but when it lacks photos, then fall back to The Movie Database for the photos. That’d seem pretty straightforward, no? Otherwise, they should really have a big “You’re gonna lose cast photos” warning appear if you choose IMDb as your Cast Source so that it’s obvious from the jump and not something every user has to research :wink:
