PiP on iOS is not unrealiable after update

After updating to the new app, PiP on the iPad has become really bad. Swiping up while media is playing, sometimes PiP does not activate, only audio plays. Other times, it pops up with a black screen. Or, the whole app just crashes altogether when swiping to the homescreen and I have to relaunch and play my media again.

Please fix PiP on iOS. On the old version, this was rarely an issue.

Since the upgrade it never works for me. It’s quite a frustrating issue.

Edit: since upgraded my iPhone and it seems as though they’ve fixed the PIP bug
